Guidelines for Parents


  • Students should always wear their school ID card.
  • Regularly check your child's school diary and sign any teacher's remarks.
  • Attend PTA meetings to discuss your child's performance and progress.
  • Ensure your child carries books/notebooks according to the timetable.
  • Encourage your child to do their homework independently, providing guidance when necessary.
  • Establish a proper study area to motivate and support your child for the best results.
  • Prioritize homework in your child's daily schedule.
  • Inform the class teacher if homework cannot be completed by the due date, explaining the reason.Students should always wear their school ID card.
  • Encourage your child to read good books or play games instead of watching TV.
  • Do not accompany your child to the classrooms at arrival time; collect them from the school gate at dispersal time.
  • Parents are not permitted to meet teachers during school hours without prior permission from the principal or academic in-charge.
  • Ensure your child does not bring any objectionable materials that violate school disciplinary norms.

  • Do not send lunch boxes/notebooks to school during school hours.
  • Send your child in a neat and properly sized uniform. Girl students' skirts should be 1 inch below the knee; failure to comply will result in the child being marked absent and sent home.
  • Inform the school of any changes in address or telephone numbers.
  • For junior classes, ensure your child carries at least one fruit every day for the fruit break.
  • Do not give mobile phones to your child; if found, it will be confiscated and a heavy fine imposed.
  • Monitor your child's internet usage. It is advisable to route your child's email through your account and share their password. Keep the computer in a central family location.
  • Encourage your child to balance their interest in studies, co-curricular activities, and sports.
  • Avoid criticizing teachers in the presence of your child to maintain respect and effective learning.
  • Refrain from giving regular pocket money. Provide a healthy breakfast, home-cooked food in the tiffin, and ensure they get at least 8 hours of sleep. Avoid junk food.
  • Acknowledge circulars sent from school in the column provided in the Almanac.
  • Use the "Leave Record" form in the diary when applying for leave or explaining your child's absence.
